ELBG1 Haunted House was one of the elective classes given during the first year of the Master in Architecture at Sint-Lucas KULeuven in 2022. Taught by Rolf Hughes.
The concept was to do research about the hidden life of buildings through narratives and eventually create your own haunted house.
My research led to the realization that we already live in a haunted house that we created ourselves, called the internet.
Humans create tools to help them, but are not aware that these tools are shaping their lives in the meanwhile.
Inspired by Marshall McLuhan’s idea of the Four Laws of Media.
